Stacked With Love for Birthdays

 Black and White Flower Patch

Today I'm moving away from the stencil craze and cleaning up my crafting space. The Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper was still out from making Valentines, so I grabbed a few pieces to create this black and white birthday card.

The card base is 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Crisp Cantaloupe. On top of that I added a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper white card stock.

The red patterned piece at the bottom is a 4" x 2-1/4" piece cut from the Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper, and on top of that is a 3-5/8" x 1-7/8" black & white patterned paper from the same pack.

For the flower and leaf, I used Basic Black card stock, another pattern from the paper pack, and small pieces of Calypso Coral and Cucumber Crush card stock, along with the Flower Fair Framelits.

The smallest flower is stamped with two stamps from the Flower Patch set in Real Red ink, cut with the Flower Fair Framelits and attached with a Stampin' Dimensional.

To finish it off, the greeting is stamped in Basic Black, and three tiny pearls are grouped in the center of the small flower.

Not a lot of stamping on this card, but the paper designs add some 'pop' to it.

I had fun creating this card and hope you enjoy it!
