Quick Thank You

Hi everyone -
Today I'm sharing a quick thank you card which started with trying to use up the Cajun craze scalloped oval embossed with the square lattice embossing folder. I think typing that sentence took longer than making the card - lol! I simply chose the rose image from the Beyond the Garden paper and cut it with the largest oval framelit. Then I embellished it with a ribbon, a few candy dots and added a sentiment. Easy...done! To create your own quick card, here's a list of the products used:

Birthday Petals

When I think of warmer weather (and who doesn't dream of warmer weather with the unpredictable winter we've had!), the first thing that comes to mind is that my favorite spring flowers will be popping up through the snow, hopefully soon. Since the weather is still snowy/rainy here and the flowers haven't popped yet, I soothed my spring longing by creating a bright and cheery birthday card. What will you be creating while you're waiting for temperatures to rise to higher digits? Ready to make your own spring flowers?
