Inspired by Stampin' Success and Perfectly Preserved

Inspired by some cards using the Perfectly Preserved Stamp Set, I created this vase of cute flowers on a tablecloth of More Mustard DSP.

 

 

I really like the color combo of Island Indigo, More Mustard, Old Olive and Raspberry Ripple.

Another Hummingbird Miracle

 

Here's another little hummingbird created from the Sale-a-Bration set called Bloomin' Marvelous. It uses mostly retired products (Regal Rose and Certainly Celery Cardstock and retired DSP, as well as the Vine Street embossing folder), but the layout could be used with other similar current stamp sets, such as Elements of Style (118611 W, 120645 C) or Wildflower Meadow (129165).

Hummingbird Miracles

Here's a little hummingbird to brighten your day. I love this Sale-a-Bration stamp set called Bloomin' Marvelous. Too bad Sale-a-Bration ended in March! It's just starting to feel like spring around here, even though it's June already:(

Bubbles and Cake

What do you do with a small scrap of pink and white striped dsp? Why, you punch circles in different sizes to create a bubbly background for a beautiful cake, of course!

The color scheme kinda reminds me of neapolitan ice cream. Yum, ice cream and cake!

Framed

Rummaging around in my craft room today, I came across these top note remnants from a previous project. Hmmm, what could I do with these?

With a quick cut down the middle, the frame was transformed!
Add a little DSP, stamp a little, use a couple of framelits and punches, sponge a little, color a little.Then voila ... A baby card emerges! Blue and orange might not be traditional baby colors, but I like it!

 

What do you think? One down and only 12-1/2 more frames to repurpose!

Sweet Yummy Birthday

Caught By the Tide

I was fishin' around in my stamp room the other day, and here's what I caught:

This cute little fish is stamped in soft suede ink on tangerine tango cardstock. The coral was stamped in versamark and heat embossed with sugar & spice embossing powder - LOL - I can smell him across the room, but he doesn't smell very fishy!

Repurpose Your Scraps

At one of our Song of My Heart demo team meetings last fall, we made these little treat boxes with the petal card double punch, so I had a LOT of these scraps:

I never like to throw paper out, even tiny scraps. After pondering for a short time, I decided to trim the punched paper to create a frame and here's what happened:

Inspired By the Tide

Recently I've been working diligently at using up some retired DSP scraps in order to make room for new stuff! I was inspired by the design of Beth's Stamp Camp cards but wanted to use this more masculine paper. Here's my version.

Get Well With Thoughts and Prayers

 

Usually I use the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set for sympathy cards, but since I needed some get well cards, I changed it up a little. This retired paper somehow reminds me of swirling windblown leaves on this card, especially with the fall color Cajun Craze layer :)
