Easily Adapt Paper Pumpkin 

I love my Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin kits, but I rarely make all the projects exactly alike. It is so easy to make the pieces provided in the kit uniquely yours by adding a few small touches. The March kit had 4 small gift cards and 4 large gift cards.

I made three of the small gift cards and one of the large gift cards following the instructions included in the kit.

Since I didn't need all of these gift cards right now, I turned a couple of them into cards for other occasions. 

First up is a baby card using the baby from the retired Stampin' Up! All in the Family set, stamped in Soft Suede. 

Stamp the baby on one of the self-adhesive circles. Cut one of the small gift cards in half. Adhere the half circle to the plain white half of the gift card. Stamp the greeting. Add the gift card envelope piece.

Use the other half of the small gift card for this graduation card. Add some Cucumber Crush balloons and Basic Black caps, and stamp the sentiment on top with the Stampin' Up! Bravo stamp set.

Add a tea lace doily and cut one adhesive circle in half to create a different version of the birthday card. The "birthday" greeting is from Celebrate Today.

Lifetime of Love

Wishing You Love and Laughter

Spring is a season of new beginnings, and for many that may include beginning life as a couple. Today's card expresses a wish for that life to include two essential ingredients: love and laughter.

To create this card:

• Cut a card base from thick Whisper White cardstock, 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", and fold in half.
• Add a layer of Basic Black cardstock, 5-1/4" x 4".
• Cut a piece of Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum 5" x 3-3/4" and adhere it to the black cardstock with mini glue dots behind the silver hearts.
• Die cut a Silver Foil Sheet with the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits.
• Die cut Brushed Gold cardstock (retired) with the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits flowers and adhere the flowers to the silver foil with mini glue dots.
• For the banner - stamp the sentiment in Versamark on Whisper White cardstock and heat emboss it with gold embossing powder. This sample shows a sentiment from the retired Stampin' Up! Love & Laughter stamp set. Cut into a banner. Adhere it to the heart with mini glue dots.
• Add Cherry Cobbler or other color candy dots to the flowers and you have an elegant wedding card for the happy couple.
